We had such a wonderful Christmas celebrating with family. Our children made a Happy Birthday Jesus cake, that I would've posted a pic of but it stuck to the foil and was kinda nasty. I love to hear them telling the story of what the true meaning of Christmas is really about. They, of course, loved waking up to what Santa brought them, and we have been playing with cars and play-doh this morning. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and vacation. BTW...the pic above is of my 91 year old granny!!!!! The rest are of my nieces, nephews, and you know which ones I my kiddos!

So, have you seen the new gingerbread houses at Walmart?? The house are already stuck together, and all you do is decorate!! So much easier than the house that falls apart 10 times and you have unhappy children. This way is much better, and I have two of the happiest children! Oh, and at $7.00 on sale right now..you can't beat that!

Brooklynn had Gracie and Maggie over while there parents enjoyed a night away, and we had a blast!!! We made cookies(that I burnt and had to race to get home cause I remembered leavin the oven on when going to get pizza!!!), painted toenails, made ornaments, drank hot cocoa that maggie gave to her bf for Christmas with Princess cups, and watched Elf. They had a blast and I know will be so tired tomorrow, but it is worth every second to see these sweet, sweet girls having so much fun!! I just love em! Sometimes it's fun for the guys to go to deer camp, but we still miss em!
I just love the polka dot toes...think I'll do mine too!

This year I ordered my card from my lab and I was very pleased. This is sad to say, but this is our first time of getting a somewhat family portrait. I'm so glad we finally did though. I just looove getting Christmas cards in the mail...I rush to the mailbox every afternoon to see whos is in there that day. However, I guess because I'm always taking everyone elses pics for their cards, I find it very difficult to get mine done..ha!

Brooklynn has been begging her Daddy to take her hunting, since the guys go every weekend. I think she thought it was going to be so much fun. Well, Chad sent me pics of her in the deer stand, and needless to say they were hilarious. She was laying down(on berber carpet, i might add-they really aren't roughing it at their camp) playing with her eyelashes!! So cute! She kept telling him, "this is fun daddy!" She was trying to impress him by liking it, bless her heart! We'll see if she wants to go again! (or go eat sushi and go shopping with MAMA)

Brooklynn and I got to go to a special Hello Kitty Fashion Show at Mistletoe(thanks to my dad) this year and OMG she had the best time ever! Hello Kitty was there! They had a four tier pink chocolate waterfall with marshmallows cookies and strawberries to dip in it, pink lemonade, and other fun pink stuff. All of which my little girl loves, because it is PINK! We went with some of her favorite friends: Gracie, Maggie, and Avery! Afterward we shopped for a few minutes, and we ran into HOPE(OFF OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES) and she offered to take a picture with two of the girlies.

The men went to Deer Camp(of course) and we stayed home and made cookies and ornaments! Brooklynn and I ran outside when we saw the snow starting to sprinkle down and she was ecstatic!! Well, when we woke up Saturday she couldn't believe her eyes...snow in MS!!! I hated that the my little man wasn't here, but he was having fun playing in the snow with his Dad at deer camp. They couldn't pass up the opportunity for the monster buck to come out! Our dog, Drake, was just as excited as we were. All Brooklynn wanted to do was make snow angels. Hope everyone else had as much fun as we did!!
