MY BEST FRIEND...MY MOM!

Well everyone that knows me knows that my mom and I do something every Saturday without fail unless someone is sick. Whether it's just Walmart or lunch, but we must see each other, and she has to see her grandbabies..ha! I can't say enough about how she is always there for me and how much I love her. I'm soo lucky to have her and God answered so many prayers this year, as we had a little scare with her, but God is so Good and she is healed!!! She lived by the verse, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not to harm you...Jeremiah 29:11-14"

Of course when I saw the theme for this week I had to enter this photo. It is one of my fav's! I love the old RR Tracks close to my home, and the old suitcases that we used for props. To top it off I played on Photoshop and Lightroom to get this image to look sort of sunfaded. I love the way it turned out! Of course the children in the photo make it so stinkin cute! GONE TO IRAQ..

Before leaving for Iraq a customer was referred to me by someone to take their pictures. He seemed like such a loving father, and said before he left he really wanted some pictures pictures of him and his little boy together. It kinda broke my heart, but he is serving in Iraq now, and has seen the pictures and loved them! I'm glad he did! Here are just a few.

THE FAMILY BDAY!

I must say it was the most relaxing, enjoying family bday! It went perfect! We had a house full, and ate wayyy to much..don't we always at birthdays? We had a great cookie cake from Great American Cookie Co(which by the way, if you've never had one they are amazing), and Austin got a motorscooter that he's been wanting FOREVER! The only reason he doesn't have a helmet on is because this is right after my husband is driving it to him(he'll prob kill me for posting him on the scooter, but it shows he's a kid too) He was just as excited as Austin I think..ha! All the grandparents went in together and got his bike, and boy was he thrilled! Hope everyone has a good day!

TODAY IS YOUR BEST DAY...

My sweet, precious Mom gave me a little daily truths to read in the mornings when I'm getting my little ones lunch packed or just anytime. I thought I would share one that I read today, and I hope it makes your tomorrow wonderful. This is what it reads, "You have so much going for you today, because so much has been given to you by God.
I love this and we have to be reminded from time to time that everyday is good! It's a great feeling, isn't it! I hope you have a good Sunday with your families...we have a family birthday at my house for my soon to be 7 year old little boy, my Dad, and Aunt Connie! I will post pictures of it hopefully Monday!

HUBBA BUBBA...

I have always loved this photo and when I saw this bubble contest, I knew I had to at least put it on here. This is a black and white tinted photo of a too cute little girl, who loved gum....ha! I had seen a picture of Fergie on a billboard blowing gum in a pic and told her about it and she was tickled! HA!

CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!!

I'm in love with the cards I chose for this year. The vintage is so popular and they are front and back...so unique and I think you'll like them. I've always just given copyright to the customer at Christmas and don't worry that won't change, but you'll have the option of purchasing the cards at a reasonable rate. Oh, if you see one you like call or comment and I'll save it for you.

MY LITTLE MAN'S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Austin had a wonderful day at school yesterday, and he loves his class and teacher!! He has a lot of friends from last year and some new ones. He has grown so much since last year! The teacher told me today how sweet he was, and boy does that make me feel GOOD! I don't want to make this too long, but I just want to say how blessed I feel to have such a wonderful family and how glad I am that I can stay home and be with them to pick them up from school. I love you Austin! BTW, this is one of his bf's Parker...they rode to school together for the first day!

Short Little Getaway Before School...

We are taking a short break to Biloxi for a few days before school starts and to enjoy time with the family. I've really enjoyed my children this summer. We have had so much fun relaxing, playing, and just having fun together. God blessed me with such a wonderful family and I'm so thankful! This is my two last summer...they have grown so much since then, so I'll have to post when I get home to see the difference.
